Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components, or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment or other hardware systems

  • Determines design approaches and parameters

  • Analyzes electrical requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints

  • Analyzes equipment to establish operating data

  • Conducts experimental tests and evaluates results

  • Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability

Qualifications Required:

 

Education

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related field with minimum 3 years works experience in manufacturing engineering

Experience

  • Proficient with SolidWorks

  • Able to handle multiple concurrent engineering projects

  • Ability to coach and instruct technical support staff

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Experience in dealing with 3rd party electronic vendors and suppliers

  • Must be able to identify and enforce electronic specifications with suppliers

  • Knowledge of UL and regulatory agency testing techniques related to electrical components and circuitry

  • Possess good communication skills and an excellent ability to positively contribute to various project teams.

  • Demonstrates an excitement for contributing high-quality, innovative engineering designs. Cares about the ultimate customer and how they will actually use the Blodgett oven, visits restaurants to see equipment in operation and uses the tactical knowledge to improve designs.
