Preheat to: 325 in the Combi Mode

Prepare the bread as follows: The loaf should fit roughly in a 2 inch half pan, level at the top. Cube in 1 inch pieces and dry out. You can speed up the process in a low oven at 200 F. Toss with 1/3 cup of melted butter PUDDING DIRECTIONS
Combine eggs, sugar, milk and
vanilla. Butter or spray your baking dish. Place bread in dish,
add milk mixture.
Serve hot with Bourbon sauce and
whipped cream if you like. In a double boiler combine butter, sugar and egg. Heat mixture over simmering water until thickened, between 10 and 15 minutes. Add bourbon when sauce is slightly cooled. The more you cool sauce before adding bourbon, the more intense. |
