Place a 12 ounce steak on a sizzle platter. Lightly season both sides with sea salt and cracked black pepper. Start with the salamander rack in the second position from the top. Place the steak on the roll out shelf or leave it on the sizzle platter. Broil for a couple of minutes, be sure not to over brown. Flip the steak to other side and repeat. This will sear the meat's juices inside. To finish broiling, move the salamander rack down to position four or five. |
